Biking across the Stone Arch Bridge
|
Aside from a lively urban buzz, Minneapolis also has lush, natural beauty
found in the numerous lakes, rivers and streams. It’s easy to stay
active while visiting Minneapolis with miles of trails and parks intertwined
with one of the greenest urban areas in the nation.
Speaking of green … Arizona
has nothing on us. Minnesota boasts more golfers than any state in the
union. There are 5 golf courses within the
Minneapolis city limits alone, and more than 170 in the metro area. So
swing away!
The City of Lakes is perfect for in-line skating, biking,
windsurfing, swimming and canoeing during the warmer months. But winter
is nothing
to sky away from. When the snow flies, Minneapolis transforms into
a glittering wonderland with those same summer lakes ready for ice skating
and those
same summer trails ready for cross-country skis.
